Any customers welding short or long seams
on rectangular boxes know of the difficulties to finish this long seam
quickly to a paint able surface with consistent quality. The BKK
Series of machines resolves this problem with a very economic
approach.
|
|
 |
|
The machine performs an oscillating up and
down movement, while rotating in up to (9) nine programmable positions
around the edge. Belt speed, pressure and feed rate are also
programmable. Up to 100 part programs can be stored in the controller. |
|
 |
The machine is available in a one corner
semi-automatic or a two corner semi - automatic version. Also offered
are totally automated solutions integrated into a production line.
Parts can be fixtured either by vacuum,
magnets or pneumatic / hydraulic clamping.

BKK 4 - through feed, fully automatic 4
corner grinding machine |
|
 |
The parts may range from very light and
shallow pans all the way to very heavy and tall parts like this vault
on the right side.
The machine will grind all corners to
absolutely true size.
|
 |
|
Therefore it is absolutely important that
straight welds, perpendicular to the bottom surface are presented to
the machine. Robotic welds are not required, but a plus.
This machine will pay for itself in less
than one year if more than 1500 weld inches per week are performed.
