The ZBS - Series
Products and Key Features
The most commonly sold machine is the simple but very efficient ZBS
series grinder, featuring a twin belt to grind and finish each surface
of a part in one setup. The machine requires certain practice and hand
skills. Still the obtainable finishes even for an untrained worker are
far superior in quality and productivity to hand finishing.
|
|
 |
Especially well suited for applications in stainless
steel and Aluminum, parts of almost any shape can be finished to the
surface appearance your customer desires. Parts can be held with a
multitude of fixtures and supports into a stable and ergonomic
position |
| Either hand pads or the integrated pressure pads on a
slide are used to apply defined pressure on to the part. The pressure
pads are moved in x direction while the part on the table or in the
fixture moves in the y direction. A motorized traverse is available
for larger work pieces |
 |
| The machines feature long belts
allowing the operator to bend them flexibly around the edges of the
part. Precision engineered rolls guide the abrasive securely over
three points, to give the operator maximum and safe access to the
working area. The tension of each belt is pneumatically controlled and
infinitely adjustable. |
|
 |
| The machine is available in
various sizes and the accessories have to be selected according to the
specific application of each customer. Please review the table with
