QuickSand - A company with a long tradition and new economic products

QuickSand, the company is based in Denmark and manufactures in Italy, is originally QuickWood, a long time machine producer for the wood working industry. QuickWood now has started to produce a line for the metal working industry as well,  showing great initial success.

In the United States Metal Finish has been appointed as the single importer since we have the broadest range of finishing equipment in North America. We are working in tangent with SMB machinery Inc, based in Canada, to provide the best possible support for our product.

The most important application for the Quicksand machine is Edge Rounding.  It is also the most economical machine for small to medium volumes to do edge rounding.  Edge rounding is very critical to prep parts for a quality paint process. Edge rounding is the single most important factor to eliminate premature corrosion - as shown in salt spray tests - typically originating for sharp edges which pierce throughthe paint coating.  But also safety aspects in the appliance and precision electronics industry can make good use of the machine by rounding all materials including coated components.
